Delete your account

Applies to Property Works Pro and Property Works by Itemtopia Inc.

You can request deletion of your account and the data associated with it at any time. This page explains how, and exactly what happens when you do.

How to request deletion

1. Email support@itemtopia.com with the subject line "Delete my Property Works account", sent from the email address your account is registered under.
2. We will confirm the request by replying to that address — this protects your account from deletion requests made by someone else.
3. Once confirmed, deletion is completed within 30 days and we will notify you when it is done.

You can also remove individual devices and workspace access keys yourself at any time in the app under Settings → Account & Keys, and delete any of your content directly in the app.

What gets deleted

• Your account record (email address and sign-in credentials)
• Workspace access keys linked to your account
• Workspaces you own, including all property data in them: buildings, units, tenants, leases, ledgers, vendors, service requests, documents, notes, and photos
• Cloud-stored images belonging to those workspaces

What is kept, and for how long

• Data in workspaces owned by someone else is not deleted by your request — that data belongs to the workspace owner. Your access to it is removed.
• Purchase records required for tax and accounting compliance are retained as required by law. (Subscriptions themselves are managed and cancelled through Apple or Google — deleting your account does not cancel an active store subscription.)
• Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged on a rolling basis after the production data is deleted.
